2018 was a record year at Fisker with the highest turnover and the best result in the company’s history. This record is a testament to high activity in the market and a positive trend at Fisker within both food and non-food projects.
‘At the beginning of 2018, we had an excellent portfolio of projects in the pipeline, and many of these have now been completed, while we have also managed to secure new projects,’ explains sales director Peter M. Henningsen from Fisker.
Strong on project handling
Over the last few years, Fisker has focused on strengthening the whole project handling process, and both Fisker and its customers are now reaping the benefits. ‘Now that we have moved Brian Frisk from our service department to our project department, we have four employees in that department,’ explains Peter M. Henningsen, and he continues, ‘Brian has broad experience with our robot solutions and project management from our service department. This is valuable knowledge for planning and completing new projects.’
Maintenance services for all of Scandinavia
In addition, more and more customers see the benefit of entering into a permanent maintenance agreement with Fisker to service their systems, ensuring continuous operation with no unscheduled stoppages. Fisker provides the customers with an efficient service, organising maintenance visits at regular intervals. ‘We operate throughout Scandinavia and our service vans may actually be regarded as a workshop and storeroom on wheels,’ says Peter M. Henningsen. He continues, ‘It is essential that our technicians can solve the issues that they encounter at the customers, and combine installation at one customer with a maintenance visit to another along the way. This provides greater flexibility for both our customers and our internal planning.’
Positive outlook for 2019
Peter M. Henningsen is looking forward to 2019 with great anticipation. ‘We have established a strong foothold in the market for packing lines with bags and sacks for non-food products and we are well on the way into the food industry. Our many years of experience, collaboration with leading machinery manufacturers and capacity to be the architect on the customers’ complete solutions are exactly what the customers are looking for. We look forward to selling even more turnkey solutions in the New Year.’
