Holmebo Torv offers an extensive range of products, including peat products, potting soil and compost. Production takes place at the company’s site in Rydaholm near Jönköping.
Fisker has a long-standing and successful partnership with the company, and packaging lines for peat and potting soil are among Fisker’s core areas of expertise.
“We’ve been in ongoing dialogue with the customer about replacing equipment on an existing line, and now the timing is right,” says Area Sales Manager Jesper Hedegaard. “We’re currently upgrading the line with a state-of-the-art palletizing robot and a stretch film wrapper. As Holmebo needs to be ready for the new season in February, the delivery timeframe is tight. It is an advantage that we keep robots in stock and can customise them to meet customer requirements. The stretch film wrapper has been sourced from one of our Italian suppliers, and we are responsible for installing both elements at the customer’s site and ensuring full integration with their existing equipment.”
With this new equipment, the customer will benefit from greater reliability in daily operations and more consistent daily deliveries to their customers.
