Norwegian company Nittedal has just installed a new palletizer from Fisker. This means that all equipment for the company’s three main production lines now comes from Fisker. The lines include a bagging machine, palletizer, and wrappers, as well as a shared pallet infeed system used across several lines.
Nittedal Torvindustri is Norway’s largest producer of potting soil. Since 1948, the company has developed and manufactured a wide range of quality products for the gardening market.
Proven Concept
“At Fisker, we have many valued customers in the potting soil industry. We offer a proven concept that is specifically tailored to this type of production,” says CEO Peter M. Henningsen. “We take care of functionality, safety, documentation, commissioning, service, and spare parts—ensuring high uptime for our customers’ systems. This gives our customers peace of mind when it comes to achieving both top quality and efficient production.”

Remote Support Optimization
To support Nittedal’s system uptime, Fisker recently installed cameras as part of the existing remote support solution. “For several years, we’ve had a remote connection to the plant, allowing us to monitor and assist from a distance,” says Service Manager Mikkel Søe. “Now, we’ve enhanced the solution with cameras. This opens new possibilities for assisting the customer, avoiding misunderstandings, and identifying intermittent errors from our support center—ultimately ensuring an efficient production process.”
