
Fisker had a good start to 2017 with new solutions for the food industry while at the same time improving its position within the non-food industry. In both areas, Fisker’s extensive experience is in great demand.
For Fisker, 2017 was a year characterised by a high level of activity, which was reflected in the number of solutions sold and a steep rise in activity in the service department. An increasing number of customers are choosing to sign service agreements with Fisker when buying a new solution.
Strong portfolio of solutions for the food industry
At the beginning of the year, Fisker began collaborating with the Italian PFM Packaging Machinery and the German machinery suppliers SESOTEC (previously S+S) and Höfelmeyer. PFM is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of retail packaging solutions; SESOTEC is a specialist in solutions for detecting foreign bodies, and Höfelmeyer is a specialist in weighing techniques and price labelling equipment. “In the past year we have enjoyed excellent collaboration with the new suppliers,” says Sales Manager Flemming Foldager. “We have precisely the solutions our customers in the food industry are looking for, and in the top quality for which we are known.”
Expanding its position
Fisker also had an excellent year with its solutions for the non-food industry. “Our position as the leading supplier of packaging solutions for bags and sacks in northern Europe was consolidated in the past year,” says Sales Director Peter M Henningsen. “This is largely due to our considerable know-how of all the logistics surrounding a packaging line. When we help our customers solving their day-to-day challenges, we are sharing valuable knowledge.
Strong start to 2018
“We are thus well-equipped for the coming year,” he continues. “We have many orders on our books and some interesting contacts which we need to work on. We are looking forward to calling on our customers and telling them about several new interesting solutions which further enhance the value of our offer to assume full responsibility for our customers’ solutions, including service. Our many years of experience is of great value to our customers, since they get up and running much faster and are able to maintain a higher uptime.”
