There is considerable interest in Fisker’s quality solutions for the food industry, for example among companies that produce and pack fish, cheese and biscuits.
Fisker’s vast know-how about packing solutions combined with the company’s collaboration with some of Europe’s leading machinery manufacturers is exactly what the market wants, according to Sales Manager Flemming Foldager from Fisker.
Tough requirements and tailor-made solutions
Demands to the quality of Danish food products are high, also from the export markets. As a result, companies in the food industry often need solutions that match their production precisely. “Customers in the food industry greatly appreciate our vast know-how, which is what allows us to design a packing line that is tailor-made to the requirements of the individual company,” says Flemming Foldager.
Advanced solutions
Fisker’s solutions have become more and more advanced in line with the continuous development of the food industry. An example is the growing demand for resealable bags and other new sophisticated forms of packaging. The packing lines must be able to handle it all. “We are well equipped to respond to these challenges with our broad range of packing machines from PFM,” says Flemming Foldager. “They have years of experience with the development of innovative solutions such as the D-series for the packing of stand-up pouches, which has set completely new standards for operation and production.
Critical control point
The high demands to food production also mean that X-ray inspection often becomes a critical point of control in both the production and packing of food products. In this regard, Fisker can offer the customers to integrate equipment from SESOTEC in their packing lines. This allows the inspection to take place at high speed and also makes the equipment easy to use, clean and install.
X-ray control can also be used to check the weight of the product and its position and shape in sealed packaging.
Well received
“We have been extremely well received in the food industry and have several large projects in the pipeline in industries as different as biscuit and fish,” says Flemming Foldager. “We look forward to telling you much more about that.”
