Fisker Skanderborg is the leading supplier of packaging lines for wood pellets in Scandinavia and the Baltic. This was the ideal background for supplying the Estonian company Warmeston with a well thought-through, standardised solution with a production capacity exceeding 110,000 tons of wood pellets per year.
Over the years, Fisker has delivered more than 50 wood pellet packaging plants. In the process, we have had an opportunity to analyse the entire logistics flow around the handling of the pellets. Today, Fisker can offer a simple and effective solution for wrapping entire pallets of wood pellets in plastic for onwards transportation.
Standard solutions with built-in robot
Our many years of experience enable us to supply most of our customers with a well thought-through, standard product at a highly competitive price. A palletising robot forms part of the solution. “Fisker’s Robot Palletizer enables us to achieve the same high level of productivity as with a traditional stacker, but at a much better price,“ says CEO Kuido Kuntro from Warmeston OÜ.
Logistics under control
Warmeston produces 50,000 pallets of wood pellets per year, and it is important for the company, as for all manufacturers of large volumes, that the logistics involved in handling large quantities are as effective as possible. Fisker has therefore developed a solution that lines up rows of pallets ready for loading onto a lorry. This solution makes it possible to load an entire lorry in less than 15 minutes.

Positive experience with Fisker
The solution for Warmeston will be the third wood pallet packaging line which Kuido Kuntro has bought from Fisker. “I have excellent experience with Fisker. Their position as the leading supplier in Scandinavia and the Baltic countries means that they have accumulated solid experience and an excellent understanding of the needs of the customer. We have really benefitted from that,” says Kuido Kuntro. “To this should be added that they also provide excellent service after delivery of the packaging line. We are all together very happy with the collaboration and the solution we have acquired.”
