In the summer of 2025, Swedish company Skutskärs Trä opened a new factory in Robertsfors, Norrland. Over the years, the company has established factories with fully automated lines to pack wood shavings, mainly for horse bedding and similar uses. Fisker is a long-term partner for the new sites and has also collaborated with the customer in Robertsfors.
Focus on local conditions
“The new factory was set up in existing premises, which we needed to consider when designing the fully automated packaging line,” explains CEO Peter M. Henningsen. “We also had to be mindful of outdoor temperatures to ensure that any equipment stored outside before installation could withstand the cold.”
