In May, Fisker was successfully represented at the PFM and Essegi stands at the Interpack trade fair. There was considerable interest in the demonstrated solutions, and Fisker is now working on several potential projects.
Since the fair, Fisker has had discussions with both food and non-food companies, says Sales Manager Flemming Foldager from Fisker. “The market has welcomed the new solutions from PFM, and especially the D- and R-series have attracted much interest. There was also considerable interest in Essegi’s Su&So bagging machine, which has been improved on an ongoing basis and meets the market’s demand for capacity and efficiency.”
The PFM R-series
The R-series consists of a number of innovative VFFS (Vertical Form Fill Seal) machines that have been developed on the basis of 50 years’ experience and research in the packing industry. The machines guarantee high productivity, are designed to work in the food industry and are easy to use.
The PFM D-series
The D-series is an innovative bagging machine concept for stand-up pouches that has set new standards for operation and production. The series consists of a number of modules that can be adjusted individually in accordance with the customer’s requirements. In addition, the machine can be fitted with additional modules such as a metal detector, an X-ray system or a cartoning module.

“We developed many interesting contacts at the trade fair, which we are now busy following up on,” says Flemming Foldager.” “We are having detailed discussions with several of them about new projects within both the food and the non-food area.”
