In 2008, the Estonian wood pellet producer AS Tartu Graanul had its first wood pellet packaging line installed by Fisker, and it has been operating to the customer’s full satisfaction since then. Therefore, it was a natural choice for the customer to select Fisker as the supplier again when the need for Line No. 2 arose. We are currently in the process of planning the line, and it is expected to be installed in the spring of 2024.
“For over 20 years, we have delivered over 100 wood pellet packaging systems to customers in multiple countries, often as turnkey solutions. Through this, we have built the knowledge that we use daily to construct packaging lines that meet the customer’s needs. This is, of course, also true in our collaboration with Tartu Graanul,” says CEO Peter M. Henningsen from Fisker. “We are very pleased to have been chosen as the supplier to Tartu Granul once again.”
Fisker’s service department also plays a crucial role
Fisker’s extensive experience and a wide range of packaging machines provide the basis for assembling packaging lines with a wide capacity range. It starts from 350 bags/hour and goes up to 1,500 bags/hour.
“In addition to our experience in building packaging lines, customers can also rely on our service organization, which provides daily remote and on-site support as well as delivers spare parts,” says Peter M. Henningsen. “Many of the systems we installed 15-20 years ago are still running today. Our service department’s work plays a crucial role here.
We have several exciting solutions in the pipeline for our customers in the wood industry. We look forward to sharing more about them in the coming autumn.”
