Viking Aabenraa’s two packaging lines handle a range of products, including sand and coarse granite. Each year they pack more than one million bags in portions of 10, 15, 20 and 25 kg.
Fisker has been working with Peter Mortensen from Viking Aabenraa for many years and was delighted to be asked to supply another bagging machine when it was time to replace an older one.
Installation tailored to the customer
“We have previously delivered a complete line to the customer, so we naturally stepped in again when their bagging machine—originally supplied years ago by another vendor—needed replacing,” says Area Sales Manager Jesper Hedegaard.
“At the customer’s request, we coordinated the installation so that they could contribute as much as possible themselves, reducing the installation costs in the process. The customer managed the dismantling and disposal of the old bagging machine, while our technicians focused on installing and commissioning the new one.
At the conclusion of the project, we also received an order for a stretch film wrapper for the line, which will be delivered in spring 2026. We value and appreciate our long-term partnership and the constructive dialogue throughout the process.”
