The Estonian wood pellet producer AS Tartu Graanul is of the opinion that if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it. They have for this reason chosen to supplement an older packaging line from 2008 with an equivalent new one that has been updated to today’s standards. Fisker was the supplier in 2008 and 2024.
Tartu Graanul focus on providing their customers with high quality wood pellets, which equates to a high calorific value and a minimal amount of ash once combustion is complete. “These high-quality requirements also apply to us as their supplier, and we are proud of having been selected again”, says Managing Director Peter M. Henningsen. “This new line is a central part of the wood pellet production and includes a bagging machine, a robot palletizer and a stretch film wrapper.”
Appreciated an all-in-one solution
In this collaboration, the customer also benefits greatly from the experience Fisker has gathered over course of over 20 years. In this time, we have supplied over 100 wood pellet packaging systems to customers in several countries, often as turnkey solutions. “In addition to our experience in setting up packaging lines, the customers also benefit from our service organisation, which supports them on a daily basis with remote and on-site support as well as the delivery of spare parts,” Peter says. “Fisker provides an all-in-one solution, which many customers really appreciate.”
