Fisker has delivered a complete, bespoke packaging system to a customer in Norway. Designed with a focus on capacity, flexibility and high packaging quality, the solution is based on modern tubular film technology that ensures optimal filling. It replaces an older valve-bag solution.
“The system includes a bagging machine with automatic sampling for quality control, a metal detector for filled bags, palletizer with interlayer function, as well as a stretch hood machine and label printer,” says Sales Manager Claus S. Rasmussen. “The bagging machine is equipped with special modules that minimize dust and ensure strong, uniform sealing of the bags.”
Strong focus on customer needs
The new bagging line is adapted to the existing factory, which required creativity, a “shoehorn” and precision in layout and integration to honour the customer’s wishes.
The system also fulfils the requirements for cleaning in wet environments. This means that several parts are made of stainless steel, there is general protection against splashes and a customized floor slope.
“The end result is a robust and flexible system that also increases the customer’s overall capacity,” says Claus. “It can palletize bags on three different pallet formats. All with dust-free and water-resistant packaging options.”
