Scirocco is a flow-pack servo assisted horizontal wrapping machine for producing wraps hermetically sealed on three sides from a reel of heat-sealed wrapping material. The machine has been designed for Modified Atmosphere Packaging and constructed in such a way that all its parts can be cleaned.

Shamal is a Servo controlled horizontal flowrap machine with bottom reel that produces pillow packs with three air tight seals, from a reel of heat sealable wrapping material. This Shamal is also designed for M.A.P. (Modified Atmosphere Packaging).

PFM Pulsar is a full servo horizontal wrapping machine to make pillow-pack bags from a flat reel of wrapping material.
PFM Pulsar has been designed to wrap products of different sizes and shapes thanks to the LVA feature for the automatic adjustment of packaging length according to product length.

Green leafy vegetables, pizzas, panettones (traditional Italian Christmas cakes), bologna and salami in general, even of big dimensions.

FEATURES

• Flexibility: format change does not take more than just a few minutes. PFM Pulsar allows the functions of automatic length adjustment (LVA feature) – according to product length – and of print centring. Maximum reel width up to 950 mm and maximum diameter up to 350 mm.
• Hygiene: the structure has been made in AISI 304. All the parts which come in contact with the product can be sanitized and are made with materials complying with FDA regulations.
• Servo-assisted: machine run is controlled by two AC and two brushless motors specifically dedicated to the operation of the transverse and longitudinal sealing groups. The transverse sealing section is adjustable. Machine functions are controlled by PLC interfaced by an HMI control touch panel.

The Tornado LD is a horizontal flowrapping machine that produces up to 100 packs/min with hermetic seals from a flat reel of heat seal wrapping material. The Tornado LD is specifically designed for “M.A.P.” (Modified Atmosphere Packaging).

The Hurricane is a horizontal flowrap packaging machine which produces closed packs with three sealed edges from a reel of heat-sealable wrapping material.

Packaging which is strong, attractive and perfect: the special design of the forming box, optimum calendar and rollers for film transfer and the positioning of components combine to give a machine which wraps products perfectly, producing accurate, crease free seals.
High flexibility and quick size change: the Hurricane can wrap a wide range of regularly shaped, solid products from the food, stationery, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors. It is not necessary to change any mechanical parts in order to adjust the set-up, this is done by using two hand-wheels which carry out immediate adjustments to the pack length and the speed of the sealing crimpers.

The Blizzard Hard Candy is an horizontal flow pack wrapping machine to produce 3-seal packs starting from a reel of heat or cold-seal film. The machine has been designed for high speed wrapping and for working schedules up to 24 hours a day.

TECHNICAL DATA

• The machine is powered by brushless motors in direct electrical axis.
• Automatic heated disk feeder with reverse-turning plate. The control depends on independent motors. There is the possibility to change the timing/synchronisation with the wrapping machine according to the product dimensions, the wrapping speed and the ramp of acceleration or deceleration. This system optimised by PFM allows to largely increase the average production of the machine and to remove any unnecessary stop.
• Cantilevered construction: it makes the cleaning operations easy. In front there are only the sealing assemblies while the mechanical and electrical components are at the back of the machine in separate and guarded environments. Therefore, all impediments for a perfect cleaning have been removed.

• Multijaw crossways prolonged sealing unit: High pressure and a prolonged sealing time are the distinguishing factors of the exclusive BG Pack rotating multijaw system. The material remains tight, stretched between the jaws thus making it impossible for wrinkles and defects to form. Each jaws has separate temperature controls monitored via the machine touch screen. If the temperature of any the jaws fluctuates out of the selected range the machine stops automatically with the defective jaw in a quick removal position.
